About this Resource

Hiring Our Heroes, a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, launched in March 2011 as a nationwide initiative to help veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses find meaningful employment opportunities. Working with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s vast network of state and local chambers and strategic partners from the public, private, and non-profit sectors, HOH works to connect hundreds of thousands of veterans with employers across the country.

HOH provides a range of tool and resources including:

  • Corporate fellowships for active duty service members and spouses
  • Resume Engine skills translator and career connector for veterans
  • Career Spark resume builder and career connector for military spouses
  • Virtual hiring fairs through Virtual Job Scout

  • VET Roadmap career navigation tool and resource marketplace for veterans
